Payment & Refund Policy

SMG Financial Solutions is committed to providing respectful, education-focused financial coaching and consultation services designed to support informed financial decision-making and personal growth.

By booking or purchasing services through SMG Financial Solutions, clients acknowledge and agree to the following payment and refund terms.

Payment Terms

 

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated in writing.

Services may include:

  • Financial education consultations

  • One-to-one coaching sessions

  • Educational strategy sessions

  • Financial organization support

  • Couples consultations provided jointly as a single household unit

  • Educational worksheets or related materials

 

Certain services, packages, or promotional pricing may require advance payment or deposits to reserve scheduling availability.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

 

Clients are encouraged to provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests whenever possible.

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may qualify for rescheduling without penalty.

  • Late cancellations may result in partial or full session charges.

  • Missed appointments (“no-shows”) may be considered completed sessions and may not qualify for refunds.

Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for verified emergencies, illness, or significant unexpected hardships.

 

Repeated cancellations or excessive rescheduling requests may result in denial of future booking requests.

 
Refund Eligibility

 

Refund eligibility depends on the type of service purchased and the timing of the request.

 

Refunds May Be Considered For:

  • Duplicate payments made in error

  • Services canceled by SMG Financial Solutions

  • Technical or scheduling errors that prevent delivery of a scheduled session

  • Approved cancellation requests submitted within the stated cancellation timeframe

 

Refunds Generally Will Not Be Provided For:

  • Completed coaching or consultation sessions

  • Missed appointments or no-shows

  • Services already partially delivered

  • Educational materials already delivered or accessed

  • Dissatisfaction based solely on subjective expectations or outcomes not guaranteed by the service

 

SMG Financial Solutions reserves the right to determine refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are generally issued back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

​

Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for processing, depending on the financial institution or payment provider.

Promotional Pricing & Service Packages

​

Discounted services, introductory pricing, prepaid sessions, or bundled service packages may carry separate refund limitations or conditions disclosed at the time of purchase.

Unused portions of prepaid packages may be reviewed individually and may qualify for partial refunds at the discretion of SMG Financial Solutions.

Insurance-Related Services Disclaimer

Fees paid to SMG Financial Solutions apply only to educational, coaching, and consultation-related services unless otherwise identified in writing.

​

Insurance products, policy approvals, underwriting decisions, premiums, coverage determinations, and carrier-related matters remain solely subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing insurance company.

​

Payment for educational or consultation services does not guarantee approval for insurance coverage, loans, credit outcomes, financial results, or other third-party decisions.

Service Modifications & Scheduling Changes

 

SMG Financial Solutions reserves the right to:

  • Modify pricing

  • Reschedule appointments

  • Update service offerings

  • Decline or discontinue services when appropriate

  • Adjust scheduling availability or consultation formats as operational needs require

If SMG Financial Solutions cancels a paid service before delivery, clients may be offered rescheduling options, service credits, or refunds as appropriate.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

​

Clients are encouraged to contact SMG Financial Solutions directly to resolve payment concerns before initiating chargebacks or formal payment disputes through financial institutions.

​

Fraudulent or abusive chargeback activity may result in denial of future services.

Educational Purpose Statement

SMG Financial Solutions provides financial education, coaching support, and general informational services intended to help individuals and households improve financial awareness, organization, and decision-making.
